STIE IEU Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi bidang ekonomi di Kota Yogyakarta. STIE ini menyediakan pendidikan tingkat diploma D3, D4 serta S1-sarjana dibidang Sistem Akuntansi, Manajemen, Perdagangan, Perbankan, Pemasaran, Keuangan, Administrasi Niaga dan lainnya.
STIE IEU Yogyakarta didirikan oleh Yayasan Kartika Widya Yogyakarta. Pada awalnya Yayasan Kartika Widya menyelenggarakan program BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) yang terwadahi dalam lembaga IEU School of Business Yogyakarta. Pada tahun 1993 Yayasan Kartika Widya melanjutkan misinya dengan mendirikan STIE-IEU Yogyakarta.
Seperti halnya sekolah-sekolah bisnis yang lain STIE-IEU Yogyakarta menciptakan mutu lulusan yang berkualitas, yang memiiki keunggulan serta kemampuan bersaing (competitive advantage) dalam membaca peta persaingan, peluang-peluang bisnis yang begitu pesat dan kental diwarnai dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang begitu tinggi sehingga seolah-olah telah tercipta pasar bisnis dunia yang bersifat maya (e-Business).
STIE-IEU Yogyakarta menempati kampus di Jl. Gedongkuning, Pelem Mulong, Banguntapan, Bantul dengan ditunjang berbagai fasilitas fisik yang memadai dan sumber daya manusia yang mendukung perkembangannya. STIE ini juga di lengkapi dengan berbagai fasilitas kampus seperti kelas nyaman ber AC, laboratorium pendukung pendidikan dan lainnya.
Seiring dengan kemajuan jaman, STIE-IEU Yogyakarta berencana melakukan renovasi Gedung. Sebagai jasa konsultan yang dipercaya untuk ikut andil, PT. JEC telah membuat desain perencanaan untuk gedung baru STIE-IEU Yogyakarta. Dengan desain baru dari PT.JEC diharapkan STIE-IEU Yogyakarta akan terlihat lebih baik dan dapat menunjang kegiatan perkuliahan.
